The Parisian Maison Expands Globally with a New Presence in India

With this belief, Parisian fashion house Patou will make its debut in India this October with
the opening of its retail space at Galeries Lafayette, Mumbai. This marks the Maison’s first
entry into the Indian market and celebrates a cultural exchange between two worlds of
contemporary femininity: Paris and Mumbai. 

Founded in 1914 by visionary couturier Jean Patou and reimagined under the creative
direction of Guillaume Henry, Patou is known for creating fashion that brings elegance and
craftsmanship to everyday life. From its Paris atelier to the heart of Mumbai, the brand
continues to celebrate women who value individuality and timeless elegance.

The new space at Galeries Lafayette will offer Indian audiences an introduction to Patou’s
universe through a selection of ready-to-wear, accessories, and signature pieces.
Each garment is designed with love and care in Paris and resonates with the expressive spirit of the modern Indian woman.

The Patou store reflects the Maison’s signature style aesthetic through its hallmark materials- soft pink walls and furniture in recycled wood - offering a Parisian moment ‘paranthèse’ in the heart of the city.
