This wicker bag was designed in our Patou studio, on the île de la Cité in Paris! We then entrusted its manufacturing to a family workshop in Spain. Created 60 years ago by the father of the current owner, this workshop is specialized in wickerwork. Emphasis is put on preserving craftmanship and transmission. 6 to 12 months are necessary to master wickerwork, and up to 5 years to become a real expert. Baskets are made only in natural fibers. It takes several days to develop each model and launch the production... Experts work!
